The Canon LEGRIA HF21 features 64GB of internal flash memory giving you enough capacity for over 24 hours of continuous high definition footage. The HF21 is a very capable camcorder utilising Canon’s HD Camera System to give you an impressive picture. The Canon HD Camera System combines a HD video lens, 3.3MP full HD CMOS sensor and Canon’s DIGIC DV III processor. Footage can be captures at a maximum bit rate of 24Mbps and the lens offers a large 15x optical zoom.

The HF21 features a Night Scene mode helping to reduce noise when shooting dark scenes and ensuring brighter lights are not over exposed. There is also a Low Light mode which increases the sensors sensitivity and will bring out more details when shooting in dimmer conditions.

The HF21 has a very fast start up time and can be ready to start shooting in about a second. There is a Pre. Rec. function that always stores 3 seconds of footage while the camcorder is on. Then, when you press record you also capture the preceding 3 seconds along with your footage. This means you need not miss the start of the action when something interesting happens.

The display on the Canon HF21 is a 2.7” widescreen LCD screen giving you 211,000 pixels of display. The touch-screen makes it easy to access the most common functions while you record of review your footage.
