The HS25 from Panasonic features a 100GB internal hard disk drive which can hold over 40 hours of video footage. There is also the option of recording directly to a SD memory card and copy footage between the hard disk and SD card for quick and easy sharing.
When operating in iA mode (intelligent auto) several functions combine to ensure you get a great picture while you concentrate on recording. Some of these functions include Advanced O.I.S, face detection and intelligent contrast control. There is also Panasonics intelligent scene selector which allows you to select from a number of present settings tailored to shooting in different situations including indoors, outdoors, snow scenes, etc.
The HS25 features a Leica Dicomer lens offering a massive 16x zoom which is larger than many other manufacturers offer. The LCD screen on the HDC-HS25 doubles as a touch screen for quick and easy access to common features and controls.
