The Panasonic HDC-SD200 offers full HD 1920×1080 recording directly to SD memory card media. With no internal hard disk or tape mechanism the HDC-SD200 is extremely light weight and is ideal for carry with you anywhere you go.
The HDCSD200 uses Panasonic’s 3MOS sensor technology where there are 3 individual sensors each tuned to capture red, green and blue light components separately, this allows the SD200 to capture vibrant, true to life colours with a higher level of detail and finer gradiation of colours.
The HDC-SD200 is especially good in low light conditions allowing you to shoot footage in low light situations as low as 1.6 lux. This means no more grainy video when shooting indoors or at dusk.
Like many other camcorder models the HDC-SD200 can also take still photographs which it will store directly on the SD car as resolutions up to 10.6 megapixels. The camera function also includes a flash reducing the need to always carry a separate camera with you for those spontaneous moments.
The Panasonic SD200 has a 2.7” touch screen LCD screen which is used as both the camcorders view finder and to review your footage. The touch screen element provides quick and easy access the common functions while recording without having to hunt for the correct button.
Other features the HDC-SD200 has to offer include Advanced O.I.S image stabilisation, face detection, a 12x optical zoom (with up to 700x digital zoom) and a range of manual settings for the more creative amongst you.
